Stardate 78287.68: A fleet demonstration for Frontier Day turns disastrous, as a Borg signal takes over the interlinked computer systems of the ships gathered for the event; the signal also assimilates all Starfleet officers under the age of 25 Terran years old. The attack is thwarted by the combined forces of the reconstructed USS Enterprise-D (PIC: "Võx", "The Last Generation") and an armada of ships from the mysterious interdimensional paramilitary organization known as the Scarlett Army.
Stardate 78307.67: One week after the Frontier Day Disaster, members of the command crew of the Scarlett Army starship DDV Gansett were presented with the Christopher Pike Medal of Valor (as the Army's fleet was operating as a Starfleet formation by Federation President Anton Chekov's order). One of the officers on the Gansett, 14-year-old Zenon Kar, becomes the youngest-ever-recorded recipient of the Pike Medal.
After the recommissioning of the Enterprise-G and the Frontier Day Disaster, following a highly publicized letter to the Federation News Service, Zenon Kar is named as the Enterprise-G's chief sponsor.
