Ahyoka was a Federation Starfleet engineer, specializing in warp-coil design, on duty in the mid-23rd century. She was initially assigned to Starbase 12, and then transferred to the USS Excalibur. (Avalon Universe: "Agent of New Worlds")

Ahyoka was of indigenous North American descent. She was a member of the same tribe that would eventually colonize Dorvan V in the 24th Century, in the Prime Universe.
