Arthur Porter and the Corpse of Azkapanama is the seventh episode in the Star Trek: False Vacuum series, launched on July 15th, 2015. As such, it marks the beginning of the False Vacuum second season.

Summary[]

Sadie Naath promotes some members of the newly-formed False Vacuum Squadron due to technicalities, and introducing new recruits, like Kenza and Arthur Porter, with the latter reporting that there was an embezzlement case in Starfleet on Azkapanama. Upon investigating the embezzlement claims, they find the dead body of Metraux, apparently poisoned with purple hubcaps, while the first two suspects surface, alongside two clues: Shannon Glabados and Tamara Savannah. The clues were a threat message addressed to the victim and the involvement of the family in the holographic program business, which led to another suspect.

Their questionings reveal that they both had reasons to kill Metraux, but for different reasons: the first one because she wanted to prevent further embezzlement, the second over design disputes in Super Mario Br'Hausse 2: Corruption due to Angry Gréviste Studios being purchased by UPAC. The autopsy of Metraux revealed that the hubcaps were mixed with narcotics, accelerating his death, and that both Prime Suspects have B- blood groups. It was also revealed that, during the timeframe the killer had to get the hubcaps from a restricted area, there was a third person who entered it. Finally, Catherine Mouranger was introduced to the rest of the squadron.

Production notes[]
