Atenza was the historian of the Stoneship (BC-347). He was part of an away team that went shopping in the Kartika Supermall in the hours prior to the Jadefire Run, (Star Trek: The Stoneship Files: "Dilithium Dance") and even went as far as studying the lessons of the Tuition Crisis holographic program with his superiors. He studied at the University of Whoville, on Monastir, for his undergraduate studies and at the University of Mississippi for graduate school prior to joining the Educational Debtor Service Program, thus becoming a teacher aboard the Stoneship.
