Athena Azurian

Ensign Athena Roxanne Azurian was a Starfleet scientist on duty in the early 25th century. She was an exobiologist newly-assigned to the USS Witch of Endor in 2410. (Chronicle)

Azurian was one of three exobiologists assigned to the Witch of Endor. ("No Pressure")

Starfleet career[]

Azurian and V'Nell had graduated from Starfleet Academy in 2310, two years after Zachary Stiles. ("Best Laid Plans")

Azurian graduated in the top five percent of her class, and was a member of the Academy fencing team. (David-Zahir DeviantArt)

Relationships[]

Azurian and V'Nell were close enough that the latter addressed Azurian as "Roxanne," her middle name. As well, they exchanged the native foods of their respective cultures, an experiment that V'Nell deemed "35 percent successful." ("No Pressure")

Family[]

Azurian was a native of Omega Capricornii IX. She had left almost five years ago and had not been back. (Chronicle: "Three Blind Mice")

In both "Unhappy Homecoming" and "Three Blind Mice", Azurian's homeworld is referred to as Omega Capricornii IX. Source material and the bible referred to her homeworld as Omega Capricorni VI (with one final i).

Azurian's father, Lieutenant Andros Azurian, had been the acting commanding officer -- for 40 minutes -- of the Ambassador-class starship USS Terra Nova after its senior staff were all killed in 2373.
