Atlantis

The NX-class Atlantis was a United Earth explorer starship in Earth Starfleet service in the mid-22nd century.

In different realities, Atlantis had different designations and histories.

The ship was named after the lost city of Atlantis, from Ancient Greece's mythology.

Atlantis mission patch, 2150s

Atlantis was launched in early 2156. Her commanding officer was Captain Weiss. Later that year, she was destroyed in orbit over Tau Ceti IV during the Romulan invasion.

The Romulan War: A Star Trek Fan Production

Atlantis was at Station Salem-One when the base was attacked by Romulan forces. Atlantis and several other ships, including the Shenandoah, were destroyed. (The Romulan War (Part 1))

Legacy

A model of the Atlantis was displayed in Captain Andrew Card's ready room aboard the Federation starship USS Atlantis (NCC-24851) in the 2360s. (Star Trek: Pendragon)
