Aurora Parker-MacKenzie

Aurora "Spirit Horse" Parker-MacKenzie, M.D., Ph.D. was a Federation Starfleet physician and science officer on active duty in the early 24th century. (Star Trek: Avenger)

After her graduation from Starfleet Academy, Dr. Parker-MacKenzie served as medical officer on the USS Tecumseh from 2301 to 2304; and then at Starbase 47 from 2304 to 2306. From 2306 to 2307, she was the assistant chief medical officer aboard the USS Challenger. In 2307, she and her husband, Jamie MacKenzie were part of a Challenger medical team treating a plague on Naihyohg. Unfortunately, he contracted the plague and died, leaving her a widow.

Dr. Parker-MacKenzie then transferred to the USS Avenger to serve as chief medical officer, a billet she held for three years. In 2310, she decided to focus on her training as a xenozoologist and requested a position change to chief science officer, which was granted. However, she only held the latter billet for a year, then served in different science and medical billets aboard Avenger until she transferred off the ship in 2314.

Parker-MacKenzie graduated from Johns Hopkins University, on Earth, in 2288.
