Ava Sigurdsdottir was a Starfleet engineer, of Icelandic and mixed Asian descent, active in the 23rd century.
Sigurdsdottir was born in the Martian Colonies and was proud of her heritage as the great-grandaughter of one of the first settlers on Mars. As well, she was a grand-niece of Esteban Velasco, a founder of Yogyakarta Baru.
She was chief engineer of USS Accord, beginning with its commissioning in 2256.
