Beauxbatons Academy of Magic was an educational institution on planet Hogwarts that fulfilled a similar function to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (the teaching of the magical arts).
However, unlike Hogwarts School, which accepts students of both genders, Beauxbatons (from the French word for "Beautiful Wands") accepts only female students.
Fleur Delacour attended Beauxbatons Academy prior to her being the first person from Hogwarts (the planet) to attend Starfleet Academy.
