The Brakt class was a type of fast attack ship that entered service with the Klingon Defense Force in 2370. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 3: Ships of the Klingon Empire)
The Brakt resembled a cross between a K't'inga and B'rel-class starships. The main shaft was shortened to made it less vulnerable and its wing pylons were swept back and tucked in, giving the design a sleek appearance.
The Brakt's forward disruptor cannon was a powerful variant usually reserved for use on much large battle cruisers. This gave the Brakt increased firepower for a vessel of its size. However, the weapon required significant power to fire, which could cause unpredictable power surges throughout the ship.
