Breech! (ST:BH)

"Breech!" is considered the final story about the USS Shiloh, which was originally part of the Star Trek: Shiloh fan fiction website that became part of the Star Trek: Black Hawk website. It is not the final story, written as others were written.

In the story, the USS Shiloh has completed its refit, mentioned in Part One of Way of the Warriors, and is on the way to test its new transwarp platform when a quantum filament hits. With the warp core breaching and no way to eject it, Captain Higdon must do the one thing no captain wants to do - abandon ship - and allow his ship to destroy itself.
