By the Hands of the Prophets is the story that started Star Trek: Invincible.
Ten years have passed since the Dominion War. It has been a very peaceful time for the Alpha Quadrant. Cardassia, devastated by the war, applies for admittance to the Federation. A stable wormhole to the Delta Quadrant has been discovered at Betazed. The Federation has posted listening posts in the Delta Quadrant where they can keep an eye on the doings of the Borg.
However, all begins to go downhill when the listening posts in both the Delta and Gamma Quadrants go dead, and a small patrol sent to find them stops reporting back. And, Benjamin Sisko has returned from years among the Prophets, with visions of imminent doom.
Can the Federation withstand the coming storm?
