The two ships had been finished at the Utopia Planitia shipyards four days ahead of schedule.  NCC-1701-J, the ''Enterprise ''and NCC-245526-D, the ''Italic Singularity''.  Impressive as these ships are, there are things that seem to be worked out on the fly and fixed to maintain optimum operational efficiency...  Maybe it's inherent in the technology.  Maybe it's all in the collective heads maintaining the ships.  Maybe, just maybe, it's just ancient naval superstition...  Whatever it is, it keeps all good captains on their toes.
