The Cestus Baseball League was a sporting association founded on the Cestus III colony in the mid-24th century, reviving the old Earth game. At its inception, the League consisted of six teams, including the Cestus Comets and the Pike City Pioneers. (DS9: "Family Business")

Other teams in the League included the Palombo Sehlats, Port Shangri-la Seagulls, Prairieview Green Sox, and Salavar Stars. There were also baseball teams in Johnson City, New Chicago and Lakeside. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
