The Cestus Shipyards originally began operations in 2368 in orbit of Cestus IV.
Dominion War[]
During the Dominion War the shipyard produced a bulk of the Starships that would make up the 14th Fleet. In 2387, a massive shockwave struck the facility laying waste to all 12 dry docks. In an unprecedented move, Rear Admiral Deragon Lucifel had 8 dry docks assembled and moved to Cestus III in 2 months. The shipyard was 100% operational by the end of the year.
