Charivretha zh'Thane, informally called Vretha, was an Andorian female (zhen) living in the 24th century. A skilled diplomat, she served as an ambassador, and later, as Andoria's representative on the Federation Council. She was also the mother (zhavey) of Starfleet officer Thirishar ch'Thane, and a friend of Ambassador Lwaxana Troi, Admiral Alynna Nechayev and Commander Elias Vaughn. In the 2392 Federation presidential election she was cited as a possible candidate to succeed the retiring Nanietta Bacco. However, she never formally entered the race. (STO novel: The Path to 2409)
