Chawera Glott

Chawera Glott was a Bolian crash survivor, scavenger, and former member of the Solarii Brotherhood. He left the Solarii some time prior to 2407 and lived in the sea caves on the Main Island of Yamatai. (Star Trek Online: Valkyries)

While he was no longer a member of the Solarii, he did continue some of their practices; in particular, he had at least two crude shrines dedicated to the Sun Queen Himiko and continued to abduct other crash survivors and engage in the ritual sacrifice of female captives. He set up several booby-traps, crude defenses, and salvage stations throughout the caves.

In 2407, Chawera captured Lieutenant Sam Hayashi after her shuttle went down off the coast of the Main Island and she became separated from the rest of the Starfleet crash survivors. Chawera tied her up near one of her shrines, but she escaped, setting off one of his explosive traps in the process. Chawera pursued her, trying to convince her to come back, telling her he'd kill her quickly and that she'd get no such offer from the Solarii. However, the explosive trap had started a cave-in, which killed Chawera and allowed Sam to escape. ("Survivors of Yamatai")
