Chelymun hosted several soapbox car races, like the Badlands (soapbox race), and the Jadefire Run. The finish line of the Jadefire Run bordered a shopping mall, the Kartika Supermall, built in the late 23rd century by the Iron Fang County in an internal craze for megaprojects inside the Lyran Star Empire.
