The Children of Khan were a radical group of Augments who followed the philosophy of Khan Noonien Singh. (Star Trek Online, Myriad Universes)

History

Myriad universe

In an alternate timeline, the Augments won the war against the Humans during the Eugenics Wars of the 1990s, leading to the conquest of several large Alpha and Beta Quadrant powers in the following next centuries. By the late 24th century, the Children of Khan had conquered the Vulcans, Andorians, Betazoids, Trill, and the Romulan Star Empire. (ST - Myriad Universes: "Seeds of Dissent")

Online timeline

Sometime in the late 24th century, James Fadi Mehra, also known as Princep Khan, assumed leadership of the Children of Khan. He was eventually captured and imprisoned at Facility 4028.

In 2409, Doctor Amar Singh briefly lead the Children of Khan while working for the Klingon Empire to create an ultimate being. After he was defeated by a Starfleet crew and imprisoned at Facility 4028, a riot ensued and James Fadi Mehra escaped. (Star Trek Online: Mission: Facility 4028)

In 2410, the USS Phoenix-X investigated a break-in by the Children of Khan at Facility 4028 where the Children stole Lore-parts. Oroku Seifer and Kayl of the Phoenix-X tracked the Children down to the Klingon Research Facility in the Briar Patch. There, he confronted Augments Ruko, Tavar and one other in mid-assembly of Lore who admitted the Children were looking to have Lore lead them. But when Lore explained his hatred for organic beings, the Children rejected him and escaped on their ship. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X: "Myths and Lore")

Later, the exiled Klingon House of Kovok, and enemy of the Klingon Empire, made a deal to join forces with the Children of Khan and plotted to have a Changeling Chancellor of the Klingon High Council J'mpok planted at the Klingon High Council while they held onto the real J'mpok. (First City: Page 2)

Captain Menchez, uncovered the Changeling spy and was given command of the IKS Kragoth so that he and General Kro'nok of the IKS Ha'vok could take a mission to the Pheben Sector to confront the House of Kovok and Children of Khan at Moartor Outpost and rescue the captured J'mpok. (Page 1-2) Tavar, commanding the Kurak-class Sevak, led twenty ships of both factions against both commanding officers before Menchez was captured by the Augment Hokke and Ruko during the infiltration of the orbital outpost. The Augment Jengo then took over the Kragoth and beamed Kro'nok into captivity aboard the outpost. (Page 2)

When Hokke learned that their Changeling impostor had been uncovered at the Klingon High Council, he released and returned the real J'mpok to the High Council in order to maintain the status-quo. The loss of the spy left him unimpressed with the Children of Khan's alliance with the House of Kovok. (Page 2)
