Cleopatra Jacobs was the Human, Starfleet, Chief Engineer of Federation Installation Nine and the USS Bastet. She was Afro-Canadian with a passion for Hockey, Curling, as well as a pride in 'her' station and vessel that harkens back to another Starfleet, Chief Engineer, one called 'Scotty'. Among her many talents was the ability to both read and speak the Hero's Tongue of the Kzinti (D'Sefet's Cat House, the logs of Federation Installation Nine)
