Concord is a novel by the pseudonymous Jespah.

The story is told from the perspective of Malcolm Reed, while serving on the Enterprise (NX-01).

In 2153, while returning to Earth after the Xindi attack, the Enterprise is attacked by Klingons (ENT: "The Expanse"). Reed is mildly injured and falls to the floor of the bridge. Blacking out, he finds himself in Concord, Massachusetts, in 1775.

Wondering whether it is a dream, Reed ducks real bullets at Lexington as the redcoat regiment he's in, under the command of Lieutenant colonel Francis Smith, retreats into Concord. Mildly wounded, Reed is put in charge of a more seriously wounded fellow soldier, Robert Lennox, reported to be a member of the Royal family.

Smith gets the two quartered in a home owned by Charlotte Hayes. She and her servant, Benjamin Warren, his son, Jim and his wife, Dorcas, care for Reed and Lennox as well as they can. In the meantime, in 2285, temporal engineer Makan Sinthasomphone and historian Monisha Padir work to bring Lennox back, as he is actually a time traveler conducting an experiment that has gone awry. And what should they make of the corpse found at the site of the Genesis cave?
