Corinne Morgenthau

Corinne Sturdevant Morgenthau was a Federation Starfleet line officer active in the 23rd century.

In the 2240s, Morgenthau was born in Vincennes, Indiana, North America, Terra (Sol III) to Gerhard and Emilie Sturdevant Morgenthau. Circa 2283, she took command of the Gagarin-class science scout USS Tereshkova.

During Morgenthau's tenure as commanding officer, the Tereshkova and the hospital ship USS John Mandeville assisted a Trill science ship that had a medical emergency aboard (Star Trek: Shadowstar Station: "Merciful").

While on a classified mission to convey advanced technology, the Tereshkova discovered an abandoned Romulan vessel close to the United Federation of Planets side of the Neutral Zone. A boarding party discovered ancient documents purporting that the Romulans' cloaking device (known to the Federation for about 20 years) had originally been discovered in a "stasis box" created by the billion-years-gone Slaver Empire (Star Trek: Shadowstar Station: "Provenances", Operation Blackjack).

In 2286, the Tereshkova discovered a lost Earth colony on Califia Prime in the Triangle (Star Trek: Shadowstar Station: "Center of Attention"). Later that year, Morgenthau would transfer to Starbase 41 to become its chief science officer.
