D'dhael Aish'anh class

The D'dhael Aish'anh-class warbird (Federation Standard: War Eagle-class; literal translation "great bird of war") was a class of super-heavy cruiser or dreadnought fielded by the Romulan Star Empire's Grand Fleet beginning in the late 23rd century. History

Two D'dhael Aish'anh-class warbirds, ChR Esemar and IRW Gauntlet, were fielded by the Grand Fleet as part of a pacification action against the rebellious colony Artaleirh in 2276. During the subsequent Battle of Artaleirh Esemar was destroyed by the USS Enterprise, while Gauntlet was severely damaged by the renegade Grand Fleet vessel IRW Bloodwing. At least one member of the class, Gauntlet, survived into the early 25th century as a museum ship in the Artaleirh system. By 2410, however, the Fleet was so short of combat-worthy ships that Gauntlet was refitted with parts cannibalized from two BER Mogai-class warbirds and pressed back into service as a patrol vessel. Technical data

When built the D'dhael Aish'anh-class warbird was one of the most powerful vessels in the fleet. They were also among the first ships to employ an artificial black hole as the primary power source. They featured four warp nacelles, which were vulnerable to attack as demonstrated at Artaleirh. (TOS video game: Klingon Academy; TOS novel: The Empty Chair)

It would seem that the Fvillha-class was either a variant or a subclass of the D'dhael Aish'anh class.
