|Daniels during the Temporal Cold War|
|Species:||"human, more or less"|
Working under the alias Winston Daniels, he was a professor at Project Timepiece in 2268. While there, he discovered a gigantic version of the Guardian Of Forever. In an alternate timeline, the crew of the USS Farragut used this gateway to travel to 2254 to prevent the destruction of the USS Enterprise and restore the timeline. After this, Daniels devoted himself to the study of time paradox. His research brought him to the attention of the 31st century branch of the Federation Department of Temporal Investigation who recruited him as an expert in pre-23rd century history. (Star Trek: New Voyages)
