David Major was a Starfleet Captain assigned to Starbase 001 and the USS Pollux in 2752. (Star Trek: 001)
History[]
In 2752, Major commanded the USS Pollux on a mission to seek and aid the USS Domtar in Old Neutral Zone. He butted heads with his Chief Engineer, Tanik, over withheld information about the biological experimentation that the Romulans were engaging in. Upon recovering a few survivors, skirmishing with a Romulan warbird and then returning to Starbase 001, he adamantly pushed to return to find the Romulans but was denied by Fleet Admiral Thomas Garrison.
