DePaul

Sean DePaul was a Federation Starfleet officer on active duty in at least the 2260s and 2270s.

DePaul had no canonical given name. Sean -- from the given name of the actor playing DePaul -- is from TOS novel: The Janus Gate: Past Prologue, Star Trek II Biographies and Orion Press.

Lieutenant DePaul was the beta- or gamma-shift helmsman on the USS Enterprise during an early part of James T. Kirk's first five-year mission as commanding officer. (TOS: "Arena", "A Taste of Armageddon"; TOS novel: Mission to Horatius)

In Past Prologue, set just after the events at Psi 2000, DePaul was apparently gamma-shift navigator, with Kevin Riley working alpha, and Stiles beta.

In 2267, DePaul was among those on the bridge when Lieutenant Shaun Kelsey was at the conn for the first time. (Orion Press: "The Night Watch")

Later that year, DePaul transferred to the USS Kongo, but was again part of the Enterprise crew after its refit. (Orion Press: "Angel Face", "Hover-boards and Photons")
