Devil's Cube (TCE episode)

"Devil's Cube" is the tenth episode of the first season of Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions and the second episode of the first season's Devil's Cradle arc.

Summary

It's Esthappen and Rahel Singh's birthday. In a ritual she carries out every year since they've been missing (and assumed assimilated), Elizabeth Singh pays tribute to them, this year joined by Ethan Arden. A call to the bridge interrupts the ritual: red alert. The Cantabrian is nose-to-nose with a Borg cube.

But the Borg don't attack. Something bigger and meaner have incapacitated them. With Singh leading the away team, she discovers a woman who bears a striking resemblance to her daughter...

• This episode builds upon Singh's memories of the Battle of Wolf 359 as portrayed in "An Innocent Time", including the actual battle and aftermath.
• The Borg make their first and only appearance in the series here.
