Dracon

The Dracon was a Type-9 (Class-2) shuttlecraft in service in the late 24th century, initially belonging to the USS Hijinx and then to the USS Phoenix-X. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X)

History

In 2390, when a group of Hirogen attacked several Starfleet vessels, including the Hijinx, Andrea Reynolds escaped aboard the Dracon and was eventually rescued by the Phoenix-X. ("Into Harshness")

In 2392, BOB maintained the Dracon in orbit of Bajor IV while Night Seifer, his away team and BOG beamed into a tavern in an attempt to entrap Hexagin in an illegal trade. ("Devil's Leftovers")

In 2393, the Dracon was used as a test for running a shuttle to Warp 10, through a flightpath by Lieutenant Whui, resulting in the shuttle reaching all points in space at once, and turning it into a giant purple cake in space. The Phoenix-X then tractored the cake with initial intentions of eating it. ("All at Once")

Soon, the Dracon was put back to normal and was used in the aftermath of the battle with the Hiss to transport Night Seifer and Briggs to the ground of the Lost Void to meet its Voidling inhabitants. ("Convergencies")

In 2399, during a late night party to celebrate Night Seifer going steady, Kugo, Red and Armond, under the influence of polywater intoxication, took the Dracon on a joyride with a naked Targon, and brought it back without memory of the incident. The next day, they discovered various items related to their adventures as well as Targon. As Doctor Pulaski was also visiting that day, for a life-prolonging apointment for Data's cat Spot, she realized the Klingons on the Phoenix-X were likely coming for revenge against the group, prompting her to take the Dracon off the ship for the nearest Olympic-class starship.
