The Durgor class was a type of light warship that saw service with the Cardassian Guard during the 24th century. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 2: Starships of the Cardassian Union; The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
The Durgor was one of the oddest shaped ships in the Cardassian fleet. It had a large semi-circular command hull with a broad neck that expands to meet a broader engineering hull. The engineering hull had a diamond shape and three external warp nacelles ( one port, one starboard and one dorsal). The design was based on Federation shipbuilding principles that the Cardassians picked up during the Federation-Cardassian War.
The class was typically used as a support craft for larger warships in fleet formations. Many Cardassian officers consider it a "lightweight" when compared to the Keldon, Kurgat and Thalon classes due to its weaker firepower and shields.
