Eugene Alwine

Eugene Alwine was a Starfleet line and flag officer in the late 23rd and early 24th centuries.

Commodore Alwine was the commanding officer of the Excelsior-class explorer USS Triton. (Starship Endeavour: "The Monolith (Part 1)"; Starship Triton: "A Gathering Storm", "New Orders", "The Crown Jewels of Xantharus", "Confrontations")

Alwine was also the CO of Starbase 211. He was one of the rare flag officers to simultaneously hold ship command and base command. (Starship Deimos, Starship Tristan: "Repercussions (Part 1)"; "New Orders"; Starship Webster: "Launch"; Starship Caliborn: "War Targ")

By 2304, Alwine had been promoted to admiral. ("Launch")

Alwine was part of a board of inquiry that convened at Starbase 211 in 2306. (Project Potemkin: "The Castaway")

About 2307, Alwine's daughter and grandson were aboard Spacelab Pavona 3 during an incident near Odobenos territory. (Starship Deimos: "Slingshot")
