The Evacuation of Romulus was an event that happened over somewhat more than 24 hours before Romulus was destroyed in 2387, due to the Hobus star going supernova. Originally slated to begin several weeks before, the evacuation was delayed several weeks because the Romulan Senate rebuffed Spock's requests. (Star Trek)
