Faith Kingsford was a Starfleet officer in service during the late 24th century and the early 25th century.

Biography[]

Pre-Starfleet[]

Born in the Little Canada district of Minneapolis in 2359, on Earth, she eventually attended Concordia University, majoring in communications. She turned down the University of Minnesota because of its substandard nightlife and its substandard journalistic undergraduate education. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Pothole Omnium", "Wagon Train to the Stars")

The Mercutio[]

She was the first officer of the USS Mercutio in 2401. She was a soapbox car racer and teamed up with his commanding officer, Jutudiel, as his brakewoman in two-seater soapbox races. She entered the Grabvine Gateway, hoping to show something to Starfleet Intelligence, but failed, finishing third. (Star Trek: The Stoneship Files: "At the Soapbox Races")

Faith, with Jutudiel, Arvids Girgensons and Mourinho, raced in the Jadefire Run, not finishing the race as a result of hitting a bench at a sharp right turn. (Star Trek: The Stoneship Files: "Dilithium Dance")

She was known for her heavy use of makeup prior to soapbox races, like the Frozen Howler. Also, she revealed that she was a journalist, or more formally, the correspondent reporter in the Lyran Star Empire, for the Starfleet News Service and that she worked for CUTV for a time. (Star Trek: The Stoneship Files: "Cruchitude Dump")

During the Federation-Klingon War of 2405-2410, she was given the command of the Mercutio, a command that she kept after the conflict was over. By 2415, she mounted a golf team in an attempt to rescue hostages in ISC territory, participating in the Pothole Omnium (tournament). (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Pothole Omnium")

She was given her own news program to host later in 2415, Live from the Lyran Frontier. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Pledge of the Protester")
