Fast food is a generic term for food which gets its name because, unlike other restaurant foods, the food is pre-cooked and warmed up later, saving customer service time. It is usually not very healthy. On Earth, fast food became popular in the latter half of the 20th century. Terran fast food restaurants were known to be quite aggressive in regards to marketing, but the inhabitants of 43 Lindum were not as aggressive, as the "supersizing" of meals was forbidden.
