Captain Iviok was the commanding officer of the Federation starship USS Jenova in the late 24th and early 25th century. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X, Star Trek Online: Unofficial Literary Challenge)

History[]

Sometime, in the 24th century, Rikonen Gotens headed a project that required a probe to be launched, aboard the USS Jenova. After launching, Rivera Gotens got in to a trivial argument with Iviok about the aesthetics of the probe.

In 2375, Iviok's ship took part in a small fleet to protect the Flortarious sector. During a hostage situation, in which the Captain's of the fleet were contained, Ensign Dan was intimidated by him. Iviok later took the Jenova into battle against a Jem'Hadar attack. ("The Bajoran Trove")

When the generational war ship Gelomira attacked the Sol system, Iviok and what was left of his crew were disabled and left afloat aboard the Jenova. As the USS Phoenix-X came upon them, Iviok and his people were beamed over. Iviok was given command of the Phoenix-X to take the human crew away to Starbase 55, as all humans were hit by a pain-inducing weapon. While en-route, Iviok was contacted by Lieutenant commander Red, part of an away team aboard the Gelomira, telling him to return to Earth before a weaponized-countdown aboard the Gelomira would destroy it. Complying, without enough time, Iviok discovered the Phoenix-X's transwarp ability. When the ship returned, the away team and all the incapacitated aliens were beamed onto the Phoenix-X, and Iviok released command back to Captain Daniel who had the Gelomira tractor beamed into the sun. ("Bio Level 4")

Personality[]

Iviok was known to lack a sense of humor, or, at least, he kept it to himself. His trademark response to many interactions were a distinguising, singular "grunt". ("The Bajoran Trove", "Experimentalism")
