A firewall is a program to regulate the network traffic between parts of a computer network to protect computer systems against harmful activities or programs. Portscans can be used to find ports which are not protected by the firewall. Most computers in the federation use firewalls and in the federation, by law , every cyberbrain has to be equipped with a firewall.
