"Forged in Something" (or "B'Cnah", or Star Trek: B'Cnah, or Star Trek: B'Chnah) was the third spin-off series of Star Trek: Phoenix-X and second of the third season. The spin-off focuses on the crew of the IKS B'Cnah. It was posted in parts, written in chatfic. It was integrated into Star Trek: Phoenix-X in August 2014 and it is not yet completed.

Menchez loses his ship to damages from a recent battle, when he is given new ship and forced to investigate a strange occurrence on a Klingon outpost.
