Star Trek Expanded Universe
ForumsHailing Frequencies → Can I add YouTube video to my page? (Reply | Watch)

I recently just create a new page for a PBE RPG I am in, Star Trek: Washington, and a while back I created a recuitment video for the group and uploaded it to YouTube.

I was wondering if it was possible to link it up to my page, so people can watch it there. I remember seeing some button with YouTube on it, but I don't remeber where. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SupremeLegate (talkcontribs) 16:32, 4 August 2009 (UTC).

We currently have no rules that say you can't have videos in your articles so unless the community is against the idea for whatever reason you are fine to insert relevant videos in articles. When you edit a page you'll see a row of buttons in the top left corner above the editing window. The last button is insert video, click it and follow the instructions.
A note for the future, when leaving message in the forum or not talk pages you must sign them with – ~~~~ at the end of your comments. If you look down under the edit window you'll see an insert box. You can click the symbols next to Sign your name: and it will insert the code for the signature for you so you don't have to type it yourself. – JayLR 04:40, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
