Hello everyone. I have requested a new Star Trek database called Memory Delta. I know what you're thinking. There's nothing else to put on there! Well, I sorta envisioned it as a place where Star Trek fan authors can add articles (good articles, not just USS Trash Can) and get together to create works of literature. It's been created at this site: [1]. I know you'll probably think it's a bad idea, but I just would like some input please. --Species9311 20:33, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Not being funny or anything, but isn't that the remit of this wiki? – Trek 20:43, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
That's not really what I had in mind. I understand what you're saying. But... I'm a 'prolific' short story author and I've got good articles to put somewhere to show people. I mean, I can't do it here. Or at least that's my understanding. It's sorta like a storytelling wiki, that's what i had in mind. I hope you don't think it's a bad idea. :-( --Species9311 20:50, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
I really value everyone's opinion. Could you tell me what you think? That'll be a great help to me. --Species9311 21:09, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Seems to me like this would be better suited for something like a CMS than a wiki, especially the collaborative part. Like Drupal with an SMF board. I don't think Wikia would grant a wiki specific to a big collaborative universe, and STEU is more than capable of at least handling the encyclopedic nature of information, while your CMS/forum could handle the backend and production of it. --2395 Combadge Good 'ol ZC (talk - contribs) 21:46, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Well, I took your advice and opened up a forums. It's here if you want to join or see it! I think it's pretty cool... [2] --Species9311 22:45, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
