I was just looking at wikipedia:USS_Enterprise_(NCC-1701-A) and noticed they put a "disclaimer" on the maximum speed of "Warp 9 (Cochrane scale)" to show the there where different scales of warp in the TOS-preTNG era. Maybe we should add this as well?

Also I like the info box they used here as well as on wikipedia:USS_Enterprise_(NCC-1701-D) maybe this is the way to go on the standardizing of the info box discussion? Maybe just change the top bar from blue to red for Klingon or green for Romulan and gray for other? Just some quick thoughts.

Meh... I like the current box-wide color scheming myself. As for the disclaimer, I'd just place it under an ext. link, like on warp drive. --Sasoriza^A•T 16:29, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

I think that unless otherwise stated we should assume the warp scale is the TNG one. For ships not on this warp scale (i.e. The Enterprise NCC-1701) we add OCU or OCS (for Originial Cochrane Unit(s)/Scale) --Logan MacLeod 17:35, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
