After the war ended, the political movement Quattuor Anni (Latin for "Four Years") arose. Among its numbers were Starfleet veterans and families of casualties of the Four Years War. (More Missions, More Myths 18: "Fatal Vision")
- The Federation-Klingon War (2256-57), as shown in Star Trek: Discovery, may preclude the existence of the Four Years War.
Star Trek: Avenger continuity
In Avenger continuity, the Four Years War originally took place from 2255 to 2259. Among the noted commanders of the war were Captain Garth of the USS Constitution and Captain Robert Wesley of the USS Avenger.
Noted battles of this war included the Battle of Omicron Canaris and the Battle of Thranstor.
- A retcon of Avengerverse history backdated the Four Years War to be from 2241 to 2245, to match that of Axanar. Those dates predate the commissioning of the Avenger. As well, Robert Wesley was only a junior officer during those years.
In this continuity, the Four Years War occurred between 2241 and 2245. Three of the most notable captains were Samuel Travis of the USS Hercules, Sonya Alexander of the USS Ajax, and Kelvar Garth of the USS Ares.
