The Gateway Asteroid Belt is a very large collection of asteroids in the Gateway system near Unity One Starbase.
Rakelli Use[]
The belt was once the location of a Rakelli base built into an asteroid, designed to spy on Unity One Starbase. See The Frigate attack on Unity Starbase. The Klingons took this base as their own and use it as an observation post.
