History[]
After 2063, after first contact, Gault was colonized by the Siberian Collective, whom included many of Russian and Ukrainian descent. Gault became a provider of food and agricultural goods for United Earth and, later, for the Federation. (A Singular Destiny)
In the early 2290s, after the Khitomer Accords, Gault became a joint Federation-Klingon farming colony. (Project Potemkin: "Shovel of Kahless") Gueronimo Perez had lived on Gault with his wife, Tina, until she died. ("Holding Pattern")
In 2347, Worf moved to Gault to live with his adoptive family. In 2353, Worf accidentally killed a fellow soccer player with a ball during a secondary school game. (TNG: "Heart of Glory", "Homeward"; DS9: "Let He Who is Without Sin")
In 2391, Gault was attacked by the Diggs-altered Traveling Link, who were described as tall men, harassing them for energy weapons. When none could be found, the Link reformed into one giant person and shot out back into space. The USS Phoenix-X was later sent to investigate, capturing Diggs to interrogate him.
