The Gel'tar class was a type of battleship that saw service in the Klingon Defense Force during the Dominion War. (The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
- This ship clashes with a statement made in another Spacedock! sourcebook, the Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 3: Ships of the Klingon Empire. That states that only two types of battleships were fielded by the Klingons around this period, the Negh'Var class and the Gel'joQ class. It is possible that the Gel'tar class might be a misspelling of the latter.
