Gordon Avery

Gordon Avery was a Federation Starfleet scientist and engineer on duty in the late 23rd and early 24th centuries.

By 2306, he was the chief science officer of the USS Potemkin (NCC-4517) , successor vessel to a namesake ship destroyed seven years earlier. (Project Potemkin: "The Castaway")

Prior Starfleet career

In the 2290s, Avery had been assigned to the Constitution-class heavy cruiser USS Potemkin as an environmental engineering specialist, though he was cross-trained as a science officer. (Project Potemkin: "Just Once...", "Unspoken", "Third Watch", "The Last Child")

Avery seemed to have been promoted to alpha-shift science officer, if not chief science officer, by "The Last Child".

Avery was one of the survivors of the Potemkin's destruction by Romulan vessels in 2299. ("Destinies")

The character is not seen in "Destinies".
