Graav was the logistics officer of the USS Grissom (NCC-638) in 2285.
Special Services Division involves all of the support services that support the diplomatic and day-to-day functions of the Grissom. Graav is friendly with Arunie Fernando , whom he treats as a younger sister, having served with her aboard the Endeavour , and recommending her as Yeoman to Captain J.T. Esteban.
