Lieutenant Haeruuh of Cait was a Starfleet officer with a "brindle" coat taken prisoner by a group of rogue Cardassians during the Dominion War, and was one of the highest-ranking officers in the group imprisoned in the hidden base on Lessek. Only outranked by Lieutenant Commander Makis Spirodopoulos, he therefore became one of Spirodopoulos' right-hand officers, along with Lieutenants T'Ruveh and Yupanki. (Star Trek: Sigils and Unions--The Thirteenth Order)

Despite deep suspicions towards the Cardassians--including a suggestion that the rebels might be using their proposal of an alliance as a ruse to slaughter their prisoners and that the prisoners ought to turn the tables and do the same to the Cardassians, Lieutenant Haeruuh threw in with the rebels. With Spirodopoulos, he fought as a member of the combined Cardassian-Starfleet rebel group, the Thirteenth Order, and sat in on all strategy briefings held by the ad-hoc unit.

During the Battle of Lessek, Haeruuh provided the suppressing fire against a Jem'Hadar polaron cannon position to allow Aurelian Ensign Ngaer to take flight and destroy the cannon.

With the passing of T'Ruveh after the Battle of Lessek, Spirodopoulos came to lean more heavily on Haeruuh than before.

Though Haeruuh, like most Caitians, wore no shoes or other footwear, he did wear Cardassian armor as a member of the Thirteenth Order.
