The Hydran Royal Navy was the primary space force of the Hydran Kingdom. As such, it performed deep space exploratory, scientific, diplomatic and military duties. (RIS Bouteina)
Organization[]
The Royal Navy was grouped in several sectoral fleets, led by nobles. Each fleet was led by an admiral and there were a second admiral, who usually commanded the vanguard of the fleet during fleet actions as well as a third admiral, who stayed behind. It had three branches: the Royal Navy proper, the Royal Intelligence Agency and the Royal Army, whose organization was likened to that of the British army of the 18th century. (RIS Bouteina: "Forlorn Hope")
