The IKS Ghirta was a QIj'tagh-class heavy escort that saw service with the Klingon Empire during the 24th century. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 3: Ships of the Klingon Empire)
The Ghirta fought during the Dominion War and survived the conflict. Due to its record during the war it was assigned to escort Martok's vessel to the signing of the Treaty of Bajor in 2376.
