IRW Rukorna

The IRW Rukorna was a Chaltok-class Romulan warbird in the mid 28th century with an allegiance to the Alliance. (Star Trek: 001)

History

In 2752, the Rukorna disabled and sent eight Romulans to occupy the USS Domtar in Old Neutral Zone. While there, they took the Domtar's Commanding officer, Captain Jenkins, and attempted to persuade T'Kila to support them. When the USS Pollux arrived to aid the ship, the warbird decloaked and temporarily disabled them. When the Pollux's away team returned with injured Domtar crew, the warbird decloaked again and took a threatening posture before the Pollux. During this encounter, the vessel attempted to trick the Pollux into maneuvering into the path of its aft planetary antimatter cannons, but failed. They, instead, turned and warped away. Weapons

• Paralysis field energy wave weapon: Disables main systems of an enemy ship, without compromising structural integrity so as to allow for occupation. Also, carries a virus to affect organic beings, causing symptoms similar to a heart attack.
• Planetary Antimatter Cannons: An aft weapon of massive destructive power.
