STARSHIP

Name: ISS Phoenix-X
Affiliation: Terran

The ISS Phoenix-X was a Terran starship in the late 24th and early 25th century, in the Mirror Universe. In the 2370s, it was built as Prometheus-class starship, based on schematics stolen from the Prime Universe, until being destroyed in 2375. By 2394, the ship was put back together, piece by piece. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X)

History[]

The Prometheus-class ISS Phoenix-X was built in the mirror universe by special Terran technicians over the course of four years. The ship was based on schematics stolen by Smiley, acquired in the Prime Universe during his visit to Deep Space 9 when he acquired Defiant class schematics. ("Mirrorlyness!")

In 2375, the ship was finally launched. A crew comprised of Terrans, aliens, defecting Klingons, and rogue Changeling Captain Daniel took use of the vessel. The Klingons lied about their defecting from the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, originally meaning to take over the ship themselves. The ship was quickly destroyed by the USS Phoenix-X when the Mirror crew were unintentionally brought into the Prime Universe. The Terran crew were later eventually brought back to life by an omnipotent being, named Rein in 2383. ("Pure Evil", "Broken Pieces")

In 2383, the USS Fusion was hijacked and its crew killed before it was brought into the Mirror Universe with captured Terran crew. The ship was temporarily renamed as the ISS Phoenix-X to appease the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. ("Broken Pieces")

In 2394, with the help of Wayfar, the ship was put back together, piece by piece, and manned by the Terran crew who escaped capture from the Alliance. ("Phoenix Meltdown", "Transgressables")

In 2400, the Phoenix-X was baited into attacking the Sleri, who wanted to learn from combat to benefit their ultimate goal of confronting the Mirror Jem'Hadar. When they recieved a distress call from Wayfar, the Phoenix-X took on Wayfar's captors, the AKS B'Cnah, within another cluster of Sleri tentacles until their actions resulted in a tear from Fluidic space spilling into the Mirror Universe. Commander James Seifer then offered to track down the Mirror Jem'Hadar for the Sleri as a gesture of penance and goodwill. ("Transgressables")
